Inspiration: Kennedy’s visit to Berlin in 1963
Since the building of a wall is a strong topic in the 2016 U.S. presidential race, I thought it would be interesting to consider another wall that was built and taken down. I am not at all knowledgeable enough on this topic to offer an opinion and I realize there are other issues to consider in the present situation that is different that what was going on in Germany in the 1960’s. I just think it gives some perspective to consider how the Berlin Wall impacted East and West Berlin and what has happened since it has been removed.
